PKL has a well qualified and trained staff, with 60 people including 11 engineers, 15 foremen, 10 employees and 24 workmen. The manpower is composed of 45% women, among them 4 engineers.  

The staff of PKl is managed according to a process of competence management, which aims at identifying the requirements as regards to human resources quality and training. This support process ensures that each person has the required qualifications, experience and competences for the position held and for reaching the expected results. The weak turn over makes it possible to preserve a good in-house know-how.

A training plan, intended in priority for the production (70% of manpower) and marketing staff, is set up each year. This plan is mainly centered on hygiene, food security, the listening and the satisfaction of the external customer as well as the internal.

The permanent staff is evaluated based on the assigned objectives. An indicator "ratio of qualified staff members” makes it possible for the Management Direction to establish plans of improvement and also to refine its training policy.
